Mitra DRR Learning Center

Mitra Disaster Risk Reduction Learning Center (MDRRLC) is the first privately established disaster learning center in Nepal, managed by the Disaster Education Promotion Office (DEPO). Developed with technical support from CITYNET Plus Arts Creative Centre Japan and Plus Arts NPO Japan, the centre serves as an interactive space dedicated to enhancing disaster preparedness through practical learning. It is a unique resource for schools and communities, offering hands-on experiences, educational tools, and simulated activities that promote awareness and readiness for various disasters. The centre welcomes visitors of all ages and has become a vital hub for experiential learning and community engagement in disaster risk reduction.
