We were honored to welcome professors, students, and team members from the Sichuan University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Institute for Disaster Management and Reconstruction to the Mitra Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Learning Center. This visit marked a significant opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration in the field of disaster risk reduction.

During their visit, our guests received an in-depth briefing about the vital work carried out at the Learning Center. We shared our innovative approaches to disaster preparedness and how we are leveraging cutting-edge strategies to enhance DRR education. It was a proud moment for us to highlight our mission and the impactful work that continues to take place at the Center.

One of the most exciting aspects of the visit was the interactive session in which our guests participated in the educational games designed to raise awareness about disaster preparedness. They were truly mesmerized by how these games, blending fun with learning, can effectively convey essential DRR concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.

It was gratifying to see the students and professors alike immersed in the activities, exploring how these games provide valuable insights into disaster risk management. The positive feedback from our visitors affirmed our belief in the power of gamification to both educate and engage, reinforcing the importance of creativity in DRR awareness.

The visit was an inspiring experience for all, and we are excited to continue fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing with institutions like Sichuan University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Together, we can advance our shared mission of building more resilient communities through education and innovative approaches to disaster risk reduction.

Let's start a project.

It will be fun. Let's gather awesome experience.
